Young Returns For 2022 Season

The Hamilton Cardinals are please to announce the signing of Infielder Jordan Young (Brantford, Ont). After spending 3 years playing for the Hamilton Junior Team, Jordan spent last season playing in his rookie IBL season. Young played in 21 games at both 3B and 2B. He hit .196 (10-51) with 8 RBI’s.

“Jordan did a good job for us last year, and was starting to get more comfortable and was improving then an ankle injury slowed him down in the last part of the season. He learned a lot and we anticipate improvement in the 2022 season.”- GM Jeff Lounsbury.

Jordan spent the fall of 2021 finishing up school playing for the Laurier Golden Hawks.

The Hamilton Cardinals Baseball Club is a member of Canada's best league, the Intercounty Baseball League. The over 100-year old summer league is one of the oldest baseball leagues in the world, established in 1919.
