VETERAN OF CONNOR BOWIE RETURNS TO CARDINALS

Cardinals Sign Outfielder Connor Bowie for 2023 Season

HAMILTON – The Hamilton Cardinals have announced today the signing of outfielder Connor Bowie for the upcoming 2023 season.

Bowie, an Ancaster native, returns to the Cardinals after playing with the team from 2016 to 2021 where he appeared in 115 total games and had a .272 batting average with 12 home runs.

“It’s not lost on me that talent and experience are integral to championships – Connor embodies both of those,” said Cardinals General Manager George Halim. “When you speak to him, he slows the heart rate. We’re young, so having Bowie down the stretch is XL valuable to me.”

Bowie went to school at Mount Aloysius College where he played three years with the team and hit for a .391 batting average with 105 RBIs in 122 games played. Bowie won the 2015 AMCC Conference Player of the Year Award and was also a First Team All Star in 2014 and 2015.
