Update on Hamilton Cardinals in College #2

As the weather starts to warm and preparations are being made for the 2022 season here in Hamilton, some former 2021 Cardinal players and future 2022 players are well into their 2022 college seasons.

Conference play will be starting soon, but here is a look at how some of these Cardinal players have looked so far.

(Note: players played in Hamilton in 2021 and may or may not be back in 2022 at this time)

Matt DUFFY – RHP (Canisius)  3-1 with ERA of  2.42. 32 strikeouts in 26 innings
Josh NILES- 3B (Canisius) .265 (9-34), 1 2B, 10 RBI’s
Tristan OSIKA- SS/1B (Indiana Tech) .313 (15-48), 2 HR, 12 RBI’s
Jacob GAJIC- LHP (Northwest Missouri) 0-0 , 1 Save, with 1.84 ERA, 19 strikeouts in 14.2 innings
Owen MACNEIL- RHP ( U of Charleston) 0-0 with 8.44 ERA, in 2 strikeouts in 5.1 Innings
Rushil BHAT- RHP (St. Bonaventure) 0-0 with 1.42 ERA. 4 strikeouts in 6.1 Innings
Cal BRAZIER- 1B (Tiffin) .231 (12-52), 4 HR, 11 RBI’s
Nathan SCRAGG- 2B (Dawson CC) .188, (3-17), with 1 HR and 1 RBI
Austin WHEELER- OF (Graceland) .467 (7-15), 1 HR, 6 RBI
Wes MARKLE- RHP (Indiana Tech) 0-0, 10.80 1 K in 1.2 innings
