Update on Hamilton Cardinals in College

As the weather starts to warm and preparations are being made for the 2022 season here in Hamilton, some former 2021 Cardinal players and future 2022 players are well into their 2022 college seasons.

Conference play will be starting soon, but here is a look at how some of these Cardinal players have looked as February ends.

(Note: players played in Hamilton in 2021 and may or may not be back in 2022 at this time)

Matt DUFFY – RHP (Canisius)  2-0 with ERA of 1.50. 15 strikeouts in 12 innings
Josh NILES- 3B (Canisius) .300 (6-20), 1 2B, 7 RBI’s in 5 games
Tristan OSIKA- SS/1B (Indiana Tech) .240 (6-25), 1 2B, 1 HR, 8 RBI’s in 8 games
Jacob GAJIC- LHP (Northwest Missouri) 0-0 with 2.53 ERA, 14 strikeouts in 10.2 innings
Owen MACNEIL- RHP ( U of Charleston) 0-0 with 10.38 ERA, in 4.1 Innings
Rushil BHAT- RHP (St. Bonaventure) 0-0 with 0.00 ERA. 2 strikeouts in 2.2 Innings, 1 game pitched
Cal BRAZIER- 1B (Tiffin) .200 (4-20), 1 2B, 2 HR, 4 RBI’s in 8 games
Nathan SCRAGG- 2B (Dawson CC) .250, (1-4), with 1 HR and 1 RBI, in 1 game
