Interns required for 2020 season

The Hamilton Cardinals are looking for Interns for the 2020 Season. Gain valuable experience in Baseball Operations in The Intercounty Baseball League in a wide variety of roles and responsibilities.

The Hamilton Cardinals are looking for

* An Official scorekeeper - must be able to attend all home games, have professional knowledge of how to score baseball games and be able to work with a laptop and the league's Pointstreak scoring system ( training on the system is available)

* Play by play announcer / color commenting - we require a broadcaster to announce for all home games that will be aired via our team's you tube page. Specific details will be given upon interview.

* Game day operations manager - we require someone to help co-ordinate on field events, set up game day operations and to assist baseball operations and game day operations in various roles.

The IBL season runs from May till mid September. Some roles would start sooner. These are non paid Intern positions, but letters recognizing hours served and letters of recommendation of qualified persons are available.

The Cardinals open the season on the road on May 10 against the Toronto Maple Leafs.  They return to face Toronto on their home opener on May 22. Full schedule and ticket information are at the links above. 

The Hamilton Cardinals are a member of Ontario's most elite baseball league, the Intercounty Baseball League.
