IBL RE-RELEASES 2021 SCHEDULE
The Intercounty Baseball League re-released their modified schedule for the 2021 season on Wednesday for the league’s 102nd season.
The Hamilton Cardinals will play 30-games during the season which will get underway on Wednesday, July 7th with the team taking to the road to face the Toronto Maple Leafs at Christie Pits. The next night Hamilton will head to Welland to take on the Jackfish before opening the home portion of their schedule on Friday July 9th. On that night, the Cardinals will host the Kitchener Panthers starting at 7:35pm.
During the 2021 campaign, the Cardinals will play each of the other six teams in the league fiver times. The club’s 15 home games schedule sees the team hosting six games on Friday nights, seven games are taking place on Sunday afternoons and the other two games being plays on Tuesday evening. All home games will be held at CarStar Field at Bernie Arbour Stadium in Hamilton, Ontario with a 2:05 p.m. start on Sundays and 7:35 p.m. starts on Tuesdays and Friday.
