menuIBL Announces Schedule Changes
On Thursday, the Intercounty Baseball League (IBL) announced changes to the 2021 schedule that affect the Hamilton Cardinals.
The Kitchener Panthers are unable to travel due to the Waterloo Region remaining in Phase 1 of reopening. This means our home opener on Friday July 9th at 7:35pm has been changed. Instead of facing the Panthers, the Cardinals will host the Barrie Baycats at CarStar Field at Bernie Arbour Stadium. The game between the Baycats and Cardinals that was originally scheduled for September 3rd has now been removed from the schedule.
To make up the game against Kitchener, the Cardinals will now host them on Tuesday, August 10th at CarStar Field at Bernie Arbour Stadium with a 7:35pm start time.
