Hamilton Cardinals Sign Pitcher Rich Corrente

The Hamilton Cardinals are excited to announce the signing of left-handed pitcher Rich Corrente.

Corrente, who is originally from Chatham, Ontario is an IBL veteran having logged 360 innings since the 2014 season. Corrente joins the Cardinals after spending his entire career with the Welland organization (previously Burlington). In 2022, Corrente was an All-Star for the Jackfish with a 6-2 record 4.78 ERA over 52 innings. Corrente missed most of last season after having elbow surgery, but he returned to throw two innings in the regular season and two more in the playoffs. In 2024, Corrente has pitched 6 innings for the Jackfish. Prior to this career in the IBL, Corrente went to St. Catherine College in Springfield, Kentucky.
