The Hamilton Cardinals in conjunction with the Intercounty Baseball League and Toronto Maple Leafs announced today the dates and times for the upcoming first round, best of three game series.

Hamilton finished the regular season in seventh place with an 11-19 record while Toronto finished the regular season in second place with a 16-14 record to earn home-field advantage in the first round of the 2021 IBL playoffs.  During the regular season the Maple Leafs won the five game season series with the Cardinals 3-2.

The three-game series will begin in Toronto at Dominico Field at Christie Pits on Thursday September 9th.  Game two of the series will be held in Hamilton at CARSTAR Field at Bernie Arbour Memorial Stadium on Friday August 10th.  First pitch for both games is slated for 7:30pm.

Game three of the series, if necessary, will be played on Sunday, September 12th back in Toronto starting at 2:00pm.
