Cardinals sign infielder Zach Marriott

Hamilton, ON – The Hamilton Cardinals are excited to announce the addition of left-handed hitting infielder Zach Marriott to our roster for the upcoming 2024 season.

Marriott, who is originally from Oakville, Ontario, is in his senior season at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. In 138 games at Hendrix, Marriott has a career average of .294 with 146 hits and 103 RBIs. Marriott also ranks 4th all-time in program history in stolen bases and has been an All-Conference Honorable mention in back to back seasons. Off-the-field, Marriott has been on the Conference Academic Honor Roll and the Dean’s List every season. Marriott has also played in various summer leagues including the New York Collegiate League, Northwoods League and most recently the Coastal Plain League. 

Prior to Hendrix College, Marriott attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School and was in the Ontario Terriers development system.

The Cardinals first home game is on Friday May 17th at 7:30pm against the Guelph Royals. Tickets are now available at CardinalsTickets.ca and the game will be available live on Cable14Now.com
