CARDINALS RE-SIGN PITCHER DREW MAINPRIZE FOR THE 2023 SEASON

HAMILTON - The Hamilton Cardinals are excited to announce the re-signing of pitcher Drew Mainprize for the 2023 season.

An Ancaster, Ontario native, Mainprize graduated from Guelph University and spent the 2022 season with the Cardinals, appearing in 16 games. In 24.1 innings pitched the 23-year-old amassed 14 strikeouts, while also appearing in one game during the playoffs.

The 6’, 160 lb, left-hander also spent time with the Brantford Red Sox during the 2021 IBL season and previously attended Carleton University, before transferring to the Guelph Gryphons.
