Cardinals Re-Sign Infielder Tristan Osika for 2023 Season
HAMILTON – The Hamilton Cardinals have announced today the re-signing of switch hitting Infielder Tristan Osika for the upcoming 2023 season.
An Ancaster native, Osika is heading into his third IBL season with the Cardinals. Osika has appeared in 50 games with the Cardinals in the past two seasons and has hit .289 with 25 RBIs and 34 runs scored.
Osika is looking to build off his strong Junior season with Indiana Tech in which he hit .292 with 9 doubles and 24 RBIs in 137 at bats.
“There’s a lot to dream on with Osika,” said George Halim, Hamilton Cardinals General Manager. “He’s a switch-hitting utility guy who already has significant IBL reps, and he’s a very bright dude with a humble arrogance to him.”
