A Letter To Cardinals Fans
Hamilton Cardinals Fans,
There has been questions concerning player movement the last few days. We felt that we would be as open and transparent as we can to address those concerns.
To begin with, the IBL is an amateur league and there are no trades in the IBL. All player movement is strictly player motivated and requested. The team can either support this player request or not or the player can play or not.
There are many reasons why a player can make these requests and we will not address that since that is the player’s own reasons and is confidential.
As an organization, we feel that the mental health, the ease of travel, the familiarity of family, the desire to seek new adventures and happiness of our players exceeds our desire to prevent player’s requests if those reasons are valid and genuine.
That being said, protecting the integrity of our brand, our players, and supporters must also be protected and we have done our due diligence and our best to remain competitive and gain assets to help the Cardinals in 2022 and beyond.
The Cardinals would like to thank those players leaving the team for their efforts and contributions for the time they were here, and we would like to welcome our new players to the Hamilton Cardinals.
Thank you, for your continued support and we hope to see you at the park.
